Entries are now open for the 2015-16 Team Tennis Schools Competition. The competition will feature a number of fixtures in October and November with the finals in March 2016, and is open for students in Years 11-13.
Entry is free for all schools and further education colleges and there will be mixed, girls and boys events with the mixed doubles competition to help schools and colleges with small numbers of boys and/or girls.
To ensure fair and equal competition there is a ranking cap of 7.1 for appropriate matches and non-ranking players are encouraged to take part.
There will be free Babolat tennis balls and a captain’s guide for all schools or colleges who enter to help and support schools with their fixtures.
In a tightly contested final last year Rugby School took the Boys title while Ellesmere College completed a Girls and Mixed double at Bolton Arena. The Senior Students competition is part of a series of 3 national schools competitions that make up the Team Tennis Schools.
