Fusion Lifestyle has just taken over the management of the southend group of leisure cenres and facilities which has opened up an excellent opportunity for a parks Tennis Development Manager. It is a newly created role and will be key in developing the Southend Parks tennis programme, driving participation and sales and raising awareness throughout the local community.

A registered charity, the company mission is to bring health and well being to communities across the UK. with a breadth of facilities from Gym and fitness studios to Outdoor Adventure and Watersports, the business is continually growing and investing in the transformation of venues at the heart of the community. In addition to 95, and counting, dynamic venues offering mainstream and specialist sports and leisure, the business has also recently launched two exciting brands; Total Football (5 a side league venue), Bickel's Yard (proprietary cafe concept) and who knows what else is in the pipeline.
As this is a new role to the division, it is a great opportunity torealy make your mark on the business and the communities where we operate. As the Parks Tennis Development Manager you will be responsible for creating and driving the overall sales strategy, developing a structured tennis programme for all ages and abilities, planning and organising outreach events and establishing and growing relationships with local schools, council colleagues and govening bodies.
In order to be successful, you MUST:
Possess previous experience of managing a tennis programme and/or experience of high performance in a sales environment
Have knowledge of national tennis initiatives and sports funding opportunities
Have knowledge and experience of securing external funding
Possess experience of writing marketing strategies and implementing a marketing campaign
Have the ability and knowledge to carry out risk assessments and monitor and compy with health safety requirements relating to sports and sports equipment
Based in Southend, Essex with some travel throughout the division, this role is full time, paying £23-25 depending on experience,.
