Cirencester Tennis Club in the heart of the Cotswolds is looking for an assistant tennis coach to help it fore fill the demand for tennis at the club and in the local area. The club had nearly 300 members and 7 courts (4 floodlit) with a busy coaching programme already established.
We are looking for a part time coach, with a view to building up to full time very quickly. Whilst working alongside our Head coach, the focus will be on delivering fun, exciting and informative tennis lessons to our existing players and also working on building and expanding the programme with additional group sessions throughout the week for both adults and juniors.
We are looking to particularly expand our mini tennis programme so this will be a key requisite for anyone wishing to apply. The right candidate will also be able to increase their income with individual lessons.
Job Specification:
- Have a professional approach with excellent communication, motivational and organisational skills
- Punctual, reliable and conscientious
- Self-employed
- Fully Insured
- Current up to date coach licence with CRB(DBS) and First Aid Certificate
- Full drivers license and own car essential
- Must be able to work Saturdays and possibly Sundays
Duties to include:
- Mini tennis coaching
- Junior coaching
- Adult beginner/intermediate coaching
- School coaching
