The Oxford Mail has relaunched this week with more pages and more coverage of news and sport which means more space for tennis.

Tens of thousands of budding young tennis players are picking up a racket and playing competitive tennis as part of the nationwide Sainsbury’s School Games Level 3 Festivals this month

The last weekend of June saw Oxfordshire’s top 12&U boys and girls compete in the LTA County Cup with the Boys at North Oxford Tennis Club (Summertown) and the girls at Oxford Sports (Botley)

The Aegon British Tour is coming to the grass courts of the North Oxford Club from Monday 8 to Saturday 13 July.

North Oxford Lawn Tennis Club is holding a Charity American Tournament on Monday 15th July at 6.30pm in aid of the Anthony Nolan Trust.

The Oxfordshire County Training programme has just successfully completed it's second year.

Hanney Tennis Club members pounded the courts in 30 degree heat on Sunday in their annual Club Championship finals.

Were you inspired by the Paralympic Games last summer? If so, the good news is that tennis has a version of the sport for you, whatever your ability.

No sooner has the Aegon British Tour finished than the Aegon Summer County Cup begins!

Victory for Oxfordshire's Liz Bamber.
