Deaf tennis camp - Gosling Sports Park, Herts

Friday, July 19, 2013

Were you inspired by the Paralympic Games last summer? If so, the good news is that tennis has a version of the sport for you, whatever your ability.

We're running subsidised camps nationwide throughout 2013 so you can have a go at wheelchair, learning disability, deaf or visually impaired tennis. From complete beginners all the way through to advanced players, there is an option at one of our camps for you.

Licensed coaches will introduce you to the basics of the game and can give you information on where you can continue playing locally. They can also advise you on competitive opportunities and if you've got bags of talent, you might even catch the eye of our Talent ID team!

If you are already playing, you can progress your game picking up tactical advice and working on your match play.

Most camps take place over a whole weekend with all equipment provided and accommodation is available at discounted prices.

You can find out more information and book a place by completing the booking form and email disabilitytennis@tennisfoundation.org.uk.
