Parks Tennis Co-ordinator - Sheffield

Venue Overview

Sheffield – The UK’s 4^th largest city has over 80 parks, of which 12 have tennis courts. The parks tennis programme will focus on 6 key park sites in the summer, with links to Graves Indoor Tennis Centre in the winter and the potential to expand significantly in the future.

Job Specification

Personality, energy and the ability to inspire a generation of all ages are the key qualities we are looking for in the coach for this job!

• LTA Level 3 (alternatively, we will consider an experienced Level 2 qualification, provided you have a clear intention to progress to Level 3 in the near future)
• LTA Licensed/Registered

• Desire to grow tennis substantially across the city (via casual play/court bookings, social tennis mix-in sessions, coaching programme)
• Comfortable leading sessions with large groups of players
• High levels of energy, enthusiasm and self-confidence; able to manage and support a team of coaches
• Ambitious individual: self-starter and team player
• Understanding of marketing and promotion (social media/video skills an advantage)
• Professional, reliable and punctual with good diary planning and administrative skills
