Blueprint

The Blueprint Progress update has been prepared by the Main Board of the LTA to give people an overview of the progress made over the past four years in delivering the Blueprint, the original ten year plan for British tennis.

As well as setting out the current ‘state of play’, the document looks forward to the next few years towards sustainable and continued growth.

 How the Blueprint came to be...

Early 2006

Fact-finding and consultation

October 2006

Blueprint for British Tennis was published. In creating the
Blueprint in 2006, we wanted to outline an honest analysis of the
state of British tennis and then map out fundamental changes to the way in which we support & develop the sport.

Over 5,000 people worldwide fed back on the Blueprint contributing positive support and constructive
suggestions to help in implementing the plan.

January 2007

A strong Tennis Leadership Team was established to manage
the delivery of Blueprint for British tennis

January 2007

The Community Tennis Grassroots Review was carried
out to inform the changes to parks and community tennis
