In the quarter-final on Christmas Day, Katy knocked out Ukrainian No.1 seed Anastasiya Vasylyeva 6-4, 6-3 before sweeping past No.3 seed Sofia Shapatava 6-1, 6-2 in the last four.

Katy, the No.6 seed, met Ankita Raina in the final with the Indian prevailing a 6-2, 6-2 winner.

Afterwards, @katydunne said on Twitter: "Really happy with this week, reaching my first 25k final! Very frustrating today as I couldn't get my best on court but here's to 2015!!!"
