In her final blog from the Hopman Cup, Judy Murray reflects on an action-packed week spent in Perth.
The Great Britain team of Andy Murray and Heather Watson finished on a high with a 3-0 win over hosts Australia with Andy taking his Hopman Cup singles record to nine wins and only one defeat.

So long, farewell
Well, it's all over for Great Britain sadly. Despite whooping Australia 3-0 today, Poland won the group and go through to tomorrow's final against USA. That's Jerzy Janowicz and Aga Radwanska v John Isner and Serena Williams.
Hev got GB off to a great start with a straight sets 6-3, 6-4 win over world No.29 Casey Dellacqua. Andy followed her with a 6-3, 6-2 beatdown on Marinko "Mad Dog" Matosevic. They then joined forces to take the mixed doubles 7-5, 6-1. Nice.
And remember how Hev promised to dance if GB won? Well, she threw a few shapes out there during the post-match interview - all captured by the TV cameras!

Grandstand atmosphere
There was almost a full house inside the Perth Arena. 13,077 – the biggest crowd of the event. There is a huge ex-pat community in the city so it created a fabulous atmosphere.

Post-match
After the mixed, it's back to the player lounge to cool down on the bikes, followed by a physio session, then an ice bath, then food and then back to the hotel for more physio. It's already 12.45pm and we leave again at 9am for the flight to Melbourne.

It is so important to look after your body when you are a top player. If your body doesn't work, you don't work....of course there's always time for a bit of posing….

Kids Zone
Before the match today, I went to check out the Kids Zone at the event. It's indoors on the first floor foyer where everyone can see it. Thankfully it is inside because it would be way too hot for little guys to be hitting balls for any length of time in such hot conditions.
Tennis Australia have invested in a transportable mini court – a bit like a Lego jigsaw - which packs flat in small squares and can be put down on any hard surface. It's half pink and half blue with tramlines and service boxes. Really cool. We have to make our sport attractive to kids so bright colours are important.
Reflection
The Hopman Cup is a great event. Fun format, mixed teams and a fab venue with big crowds. It is also on Channel 7 all week!! It gave our players six matches in perfect conditions for their Australian Open preparations. So what's not to love.....?
