Heather Watson landed her second WTA Tour title by overcoming Madison Brengle to win the Hobart International without dropping a set.
The perfect Australian Open preparation was completed with a 6-3, 6-4 win over the American which saw Heather add to the title she won at the 2012 Japan Open in Osaka.
On route to the final, Heather enjoyed notable wins over Sloane Stephens and Roberta Vinci before coming through six rain delays to beat Alison Riske in the semi-finals.
After lifting the trophy, Heather, who has reached a career high singles ranking of 38, said: “I am obviously very happy.
“It was tough conditions again today, very windy, and I knew Madison would be tough - we know each other very well on and off the court, and we practise a lot in Florida.
"It really was my toughest match of the week. I was happy I stayed mentally strong and managed to get ahead and hold my nerve at the end."

Heather now heads to Melbourne where Tsvetana Pironkova awaits in Round 1 of the Australian Open.
