Heather Watson has won the Aegon Player of the Month Award for February after winning the singles and doubles title at the $100,000 Midland.
This was Watson's first title since coming back from illness and came after a dominant performance in the final, that saw her defeat Russian Ksenia Pervak 6-4, 6-0.
In the doubles Watson, partnering Anna Tatishvili (GEO), defeated No.2 seeds Fichman (CAN) & Sanchez (USA) 7-5, 5-7, 10-6 to complete the double.
