Rhett Purcell has been named the Aegon Junior Player of the Month after reaching a career high ranking of 71 in the ITF Junior rankings.
During March Purcell reached the final of the25th Mitsubishi-Lancer International Junior Championships, a Junior ITF Grade 1 event in Manila, falling to Ku Keon Kang 6-3, 6-4 in the final. Purcell then teamed up with Alexander Klintcharov (NZL) to win the boys' doubles title with a 7-6(5), 7-5 win.
