Liam Broady - AEGON Junior Player of the Month
Liam Broady has won September’s Junior Player of the Month award after claiming two consecutive runner-up spots within the space of a month. First in the Grade 1 Canadian Open Junior Championships and then at the Junior US Open Championships.
Grade 1 - Canadian Open Junior Championships – Boys’ singles
In the last tournament before the Junior US Open Championships, Liam Broady saw a good run of form ending as runner up in the Canadian Open Junior Championships. In the final, 18 year-old Broady played third seed Nick Kyrgios from Australia, losing out 6-2, 6-3.

Junior US Open Championships – Boys’ singles
Broady then moved on to the Junior US Open Championships. The 13th seeded Briton ended his stint in Flushing Meadows as a finalist after a 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 defeat by second seed Filip Peliwo (CAN) in the final two.
The teenager from Stockport was aiming to become Britain's third winner of the title in nine years after Andy Murray in 2004 and Oli Golding in 2011.
