Andy Murray is safely through to his 15th Grand Slam semi-final after a stunning straight-sets 6-3, 7-6(5), 6-3 win over teenager Nick Kyrgios at the Australian Open.
Murray, now unbeaten in 11 matches against Australians, sealed an early break when leading 3-2 in the first set and went on to wrap it up 6-3.
The British No.1 faces in-form Tomas Berdych in the last four with the Czech, now coached by Dani Vallverdu, yet to drop a set in the tournament.
Back on the Rod Laver Arena the second set was a tighter affair but two-time Grand Slam champion Murray produced a couple of world-class lobs under pressure to win the tie-break and take control of the match.

Kyrgios fought until the end and clawed his way back from a break down to get back on serve at 4-3 in the third set but Murray broke straight back before calmly serving the match out.

Afterwards, Murray said: "It was a tricky match pretty windy, tough for both of us. I had to start as quickly as possible, I knew what he is capable of and didn't underestimate him.
"Nick is a huge hitter so I tried to keep te ball out of his reach. I played a slightly different style tonight - and thankfully it worked.
"Tomas is another big, big hitter of the ball. He has played extremely well throughout the tournament - I don't think he has lost a set yet. It is going to be tricky."
