Andy Murray brought the Aegon GB Davis Cup Team level at 1-1 with Italy in their Davis Cup by BNP Paribas quarter-final as he completed a straight-sets win over Andreas Seppi.
The British No.1 was leading 6-4, 5-5 on Friday when play was suspended due to fading light in Naples.
When play resumed on Saturday Murray needed 75 minutes to wrap up a 6-4, 7-5, 6-3 win.
"The last few games went quite quick, but it was a long first few games today and the start of the third set was hard," said Murray.
"It was good to get it done in straight sets and now at least I can be an option for the doubles if Leon Smith wants me."
