Andy Murray has defeated Nicolas Mahut after their second round match resumed at the Aegon Championships on Thursday.
The world No.2 wrapped up the victory in a 6-3, 7-6(4) scoreline having resumed at 2-2 in the second set after rain had halted play on Wednesday.
Prior to Murray's win on Centre Court Jo-Wilfried Tsonga fought past compatriot Edouard Roger-Vasselin over three sets, winning 6-3, 6-7(2), 6-3 to set up a round three match with Igor Sijsling.
Following them onto court was Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro who broke home hearts by comprehensively beating Dan Evans 6-0, 6-3.
On Court 2 Lleyton Hewitt battled past 2010 Aegon Championships winner Sam Querrey, taking it 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 to set up a quarter-final match up with the third seed.
Second seed Tomas Berdych was a 6-3, 6-4 winner over Slovenian Grega Zemlja on Court 1 and he will take on Marin Cilic in the last eight.
The Croat came through one of the matches of the day as he won five straight games in the final set to defeat Spain's Feliciano Lopez 4-6, 7-6(5), 7-5.
