Former champions to face off in the semi-finals

Saturday sees a fantastic line up for the Aegon Championships semi-finals, with three former champions and a former finalist all in action on Centre Court.

In the first match of the day, Lleyton Hewitt, a four-time winner at The Queen’s Club, takes on defending champion Marin Cilic.

The pair have only played once before, at last year’s Olympics on the grass at Wimbledon, where Hewitt was the victor. The 32-year-old Australian is looking to make his 45th career ATP World Tour final.

Following that match will be Britain’s Andy Murray, who plays Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in a repeat of the 2011 Aegon Championships final. Murray was the winner in that match and their two other meetings on grass, including last year’s Wimbledon semi-final.

However Tsonga comes into the match in good form, having progressed to the semi-final of the French Open last week, his first last four appearance at Roland Garros. He is bidding to become the first Frenchman to win the title here in the open era.

Murray is a two time Aegon Championships winner and holds a 17-4 career record at this tournament.
