Andy Murray and Jo Wilfried Tsonga both won two matches in an action packed Thursday at The Queen's Club to move into the Aegon Championships quarter-finals.
Murray, having beaten Mahut earlier in the day, was then a 6-2, 6-2 winner over Australia's Marinko Matosevic to set up a quarter-final against Ben Becker of Germany.
Jo Wilfried Tsonga firstly defeated countryman Edouard Roger-Vasselin before battling through another three set match and beating Igor Sijsling 7-5, 5-7, 6-3.
The French fourth seed will take on Denis Kudla in the last eight after the American defeated Kenny De Schepper of France 6-1, 6-3.
On Friday play begins at 12.30pm on Centre Court with second seed Tomas Berdych against defending champion Marin Cilic followed by four time winner Lleyton Hewitt against Argentinian third seed Juan Martin Del Potro.
