Defending champion Andy Murray has been announced as No.3 seed at this year’s Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club, London.

Murray receives a first round bye, along with the other top eight seeds in the draw and will start his defence against the winner of Paul-Henri Mathieu and Slovenian Aljaz Bedene in the second round.

Also featuring in Murray’s half of the draw is Tomas Berdych. The Czech Republic world No.6 faces a potential second round contest with Dudi Sela if the Israel player comes through his first round match against a qualifier.

Australian Open Champion Stanislas Wawrinka has been announced as the top seed and faces either wild-card entry Marcos Baghdatis or American Bradley Klein in the second round.

Former finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is in the top half of the draw with Wawrinka and could face the young Austrian prospect Dominic Thiem in the second round if he defeats the Belgian David Goffin.

A second round match against No.4 seed Grigor Dimitrov awaits Great Britain’s James Ward if he comes through his first round tie against Blaz Rola.

The other former champion in the draw, Lleyton Hewitt faces Spaniard Daniel Gimeno-Traver.

The doubles draw sees Wawrinka and Dimitrov playing together, plus a number of other big singles names, with Bob and Mike Bryan the top seeds.

Tournament Director Ross Hutchins said: "This is my first year as Aegon Championships Tournament Director and it is very exciting to see the singles and doubles draws and the matches that we can now look forward to. Andy Murray returns as our defending champion, Stanislas Wawrinka is our top seed, and they will have plenty of competition from Tomas Berdych, Jo Wilfried Tsonga, Grigor Dimitrov, Ernests Gulbis, Lleyton Hewitt and many more talented players. With many of the top singles players such as Wawrinka, Dimitrov, Tsonga, Hewitt and Marin Cilic all playing doubles, along with the Bryan brothers, we are in for a fantastic week of tennis."
