Top seeds Michael Berrer and Ryan Harrison fell on day one of Aegon Championships qualifying at The Queen's Club, London.
German top seed Berrer fell in the first round to American Bobby Reynolds 7-6(4), 6-3, who takes on No.6 seed Farrukh Dustov for a place in the main draw.
British World No.1592 Joe Salisbury almost caused the upset of the day when taking No.2 seed Ryan Harrison to three sets before eventually losing 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. Harrison then fell in the second round to France's Remi Boutillier 4-6, 7-5, 6-3.
On Sunday Ireland's James Mcgee will look to book a place in the main draw as he takes on World No.131 Daniel Brands.
