Meanwhile in the doubles Moore & partner Mel South reached the quarter-finals where they saw defeat.

Tara Moore reaches the second round of the $25k ITF women's singles event with a straight sets win. The second seeded Briton plays Czech Martina Borecka next. Meanwhile Mel South, Lisa Whybourn and Naomi Broady miss out in the opening round.
In the doubles third seeds Moore & South are through to the quarter-finals, while Broady & Whybourn are knocked out in round one.
