Dermot Bailey had a disappointing day at the Ath Open as he lost to world No.27 David Dalmasso from France 6-3, 6-2 to end his singles campaign.
He then faced Dalmasso again in his doubles match as the Frenchman teamed up with Morocco's Lahcen Majdi to defeat the Brit and his Dutch partner Carlos Anker 6-0, 6-3.

Dermot Bailey won his first round match at the Ath Open 6-4, 6-0 against Belgium's Ivan Kindt and will face world No.27 David Dalmasso from France in the next round.

Just days after reaching his second men's singles final of the season at the Memorial Jens Vanherck, Dermot Bailey stays in Belgium to fly the flag for Britain at the Ath Open.
Bailey returns to Ath after reaching the semi-finals of the men's second draw singles in 2010 and the semi-finals of the men's doubles at the tournament in 2011.
