Samantha Murray and Brazilian Maria-Fernanda Alves have reached the semi-finals of the women's doubles in America after a 7-6(6), 5-7, 10-5 win over American duo Mallory Burdette & Jessica Pegula. The British/Brazilian duo play either third seeds Julia Cohen & Alla Kudryavtseva or Chiara Scholl & Nicole Melichar for a place in the final.
