Johanna Konta defeated Sharon Fichman 6-4, 6-2 to win the VanOpen Women’s Singles Championships. This is Konta’s biggest career win to date and moves her to a career high ranking of 115.

Jo Konta won the battle of the Brits, beating Jade Windley 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 to move into the quarterfinals. Samanta Murray lost in a battling performance to Kimiko Date-Krumm 6-3, 5-7, 7-6(4).

In the doubles Jo Konta & Tara Moore were defeated in the quarter-finals.

There were good wins for Samantha Murray, Jade Windley and Johanna Konta, who defeated No.1 seed Su-Wei Hsieh, in the first round in Vancouver. Also in action were Naomi Broady, Tara Moore and Emily Webley-Smith who lost in the first round.

In the doubles Naomi Broady & Emily Webley-Smith are through to the quarter-finals.

Naomi Broady, Jade Windley and Emily Webley-Smith have all qualified for the main draw at the ITF $100,000 Vancouver event in Canada this week.

In the doubles Johanna Konta & Tara Moore are through to the quarter-finals, while Samantha Murray & Windley missed out in round one.

Johanna Konta, Tara Moore and Sam Murray are in action at the ITF $100,000 Vancouver event in Canada this week.

In the qualifying draw, Naomi Broady, Jade Windley and Emily Webley-Smith are into the final rounds.

All six players are also in the doubles draw.
