Top seed Johanna Konta has won the women’s singles title at the $25,000 Winnipeg in Canada as she defeated compatriot Samantha Murray 6-3, 6-1 in the final.

Naomi Broady was also in action reaching the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile in the doubles, Murray and Jade Windley finished as the runners-up while Broady, partnered by Olivia Rogowska, reached the semi-finals.

Naomi Broady is through to the quarter-finals in the singles, whilst Jade Windley was defeated in the second round. Naomi Broady is also through to the doubles semi-finals and Jo Konta was beaten in the quater-finals.
