Heather Watson & Anna Tatishvili (GEO) made it to the quarter-final in the doubles, where they were defeated 6-4, 6-4 by Eugenie Bouchard (CAN) & Taylor Townsend (USA).

Heather Watson recovered from the loss of a first set to beat American Alexandra Mueller 6-7 (5-7) 6-4 6-3 at the Citi Open on Monday. Watson plays French fourth seed Alize Cornet in the second round.
