Antony Cotterill and Ian Payne moved into the quad singles quarter-finals as the British challenge began on the second day of play in Salzburg, while Cotterill also reached the quad doubles semi-finals.
There was more than a sense of symmetry about Cotterill and Payne's opening singles victories as they beat Austrian players Harald and Werner Pramendorfer, respectively, both Brits securing 6-0, 6-0 wins.
Second seed Cotterill will play Austria's Peter Tatschl for a place in the semi-finals, while Payne faces a rematch of his Belgian Open match last week against Canadian top seed Sarah Hunter.
Despite a fine second set effort Richard Green saw his main draw singles challenge come to an end after a 6-0, 7-6(4) loss to Italy's Giuseppe Polidori.
Cotterill is partnering Italy's Antonio Raffaele in the quad doubles and the top seeds moved on to a last four contest against Petter Edstrom of Sweden and Sebastien Jance of France after defeating Austrian duo Thomas Geierspichler and Peter Laisacher 6-0, 6-1.
However, Green and Payne bowed out of the doubles after a 6-1, 6-3 loss to the all-Italian pairing of Marco Innocenti and Polidori.
