Anna Fitzpatrick and Francesca Stephenson reached the quarter-finals of the women's singles in Sharm El Sheikh. Fitzpatrick missed out Alina Mikheeva (RUS) in the final eight 7-6(3), 6-1 while Stephenson retired in her match against second seed Prarthaba Thombare (IND) at 4-5.

Meanwhile in the doubles Fitzpatrick & Stephenson have teamed up and progressed through to the semi-finals where they play Ola Abou Zekry (EGY) & Ao Gai (CHN).
