David Phillipson
18/09/13

David Phillipson, Alfie Hewett, Louise Hunt, Adam Field and Richard Green provide British interest in each of the men's, women's and quad singles and doubles events in France this week.

With just one world ranking place separating British No. 3 Phillipson and British No. 4 and world No. 1 ranked junior Hewett, both players are expected to be among the seeded players for the men's singles, although they can expect strong opposition from across Europe, Africa and Australia.

British women's No. 3 Hunt should also be seeded in the women's singles, with French, German and Dutch players also likely to be among the leading contenders.

Field and Green will hope to provide a strong British challenge in the quad events a year on from fellow Brit Antony Cotterill winning both the quad singles and quad doubles titles at the 2012 Open de L'ile de Re.
