Andy Murray reached the second round of the singles before falling to Florian Mayer (GER) 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. Dan Evans made it through qualifying before falling to No.7 seed Ernests Gulbis (LAT) 6-2, 4-6, 6-0.
In the doubles Dom Inglot & Treat Huey reached the quarter-finals before falling to German duo Kas & Kohlschreiber 7-6(2), 7-5. Murray & Zimonjic fell to No.1 seeds Peya & Soares 7-6(5), 6-4 in the quarter-finals.

Dan Evans reached the main draw of the singles after defeating Taro Daniel 6-2, 6-2. Evans faces Gulbis in the main draw first round. Andy Murray is third seed in Doha and takes on Zayed (QAT) in the first round.
In the doubles No.4 seeds Dom Inglot & Treat Huey (PHI) moved into the quarter-finals with a 6-3, 7-6(4) victory over Dolgopolov (UKR) & Gabashvili (RUS). Murray and Serbian partner Zimonjic also reached the quarter-finals with a 3-6, 7-6(5), 10-8 victory over German pair Brands & Mayer.
