Six Brits on the Tennis Foundation’s Wheelchair Tennis Performance Programme are among a stellar field for the fourth Super Series even of the year – and the last Super Series event before next month’s British Open.

Jordanne Whiley, Lucy Shuker and Gordon Reid play their final tournament before Wimbledon. Whiley and Shuker were on opposite sides of the net in the women’s doubles final in 2013, but pair up this year as the London 2012 bronze medallists attempt to reach the final once again. They also bid to improve on their singles quarter-finals berths a year ago.

With seven of the world’s top eight players contesting the men’s singles, world No. 3 Reid will aim to at least equal his progress to the 2013 men’s singles semi-finals. He also reached the doubles semi-finals last year partnering Dutchman Tom Egberink, who Reid will also pair up with again at Wimbledon next week, bt his doubles ambitions in Pairis this year lie in renewing an already-successul patnership with another Dutchman, Maikel Scheffers.

Andy Lapthorne, Jamie Burdekin and Antony Cotterill return to action for the first time since combining to lift the quad title for Great Britain at the BNP Paribas World Team Cup and with none of the three having played in Paris this time last year they will hope to pick up valuable points.

Cotterill and Lapthorne pair up for the quad doubles after reaching their first Super Series fnal together at the South African Open in April.
