Paul Stewart clinched the second ITF Wheelchair Tennis Tour title of his career on the final day of the Turkish Open when partnering Croatia's Anto Joskic to win the men's doubles.

Top seeds Stewart and Joskic beat Swiss second seeds Raphael Gremion and Daniel Pellegrina 6-4, 7-5 as Stewart gained some compensation for his narrow three set singles semi-final loss to Pellegrina and added to the Wrexham ITF Futures doubles title he won in October 2013.

Paul Stewart and Anto Joskic will contest the men’s doubles final on Thursday’s last day of the Turkish Open.

The top seeds beat Turkey’s Turan Akalin and Hakan Gungor 6-2, 6-3 in their semi-final and will play Swiss second seeds Raphael Gremion and Daniel Pellegrina in the final as Stewart bids for his second career title.

Stewart made a fine start to his men’s singles semi-final against second seed Pellegrina, but Pellegirna fought back to clinch a 2-6, 6-0, 7-5 win.

Paul Stewart will play Swiss second seed Daniel Pellegrina in the men's singles semi-finals in Antalya after beating Turkey's Turan Akalin 7-5, 6-1 in the last eight.

After their first round bye Stewart and Croatia's Anto Joskic will face the all-Turkish partnership of Akalin and Hakan Gungor for a place in the men's doubles final.

Paul Stewart is the third seed for the men’s singles at the Turkish Open and beat Romania’s Ciprian Anton 6-2, 6-7(3), 6-0 in his opening match to earn a quarter-final against Turkey's Turan Akalin.

Stewart and Croatia’s Anto Joskic are also top seeds for the men’s doubles and have a bye into the semi-finals.
