Where:Working across the Borough of Bedford, primarily within Council Park sites

Hours: 15 guaranteed hours per week with the potential to increase
Length of role: This is a fixed term role until the end of September
About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to significantly increase the number of people playing tennis within the Borough of Bedford. This community focused role will be primarily based within the Council park courts of Bedford. The main purpose of the role will be to engage new and lapsed tennis players of all ages. The successful applicant will design, promote and deliver a community tennis programme in partnership with stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
- At least a LTA Level 2 coaching qualification
- The successful applicant must be Licensed or Registered
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Excellent relationship builder with partners
- Competent IT skills
- Full driving license
- A satisfactory DBS disclosure
- Experience in working within a community tennis environment
- Ability to monitor and report
