Funding for 14-25 year olds!
Sportivate is a Sport England funding programme that caters for non sporty 14-25 year olds to take part in subsidised 6 week coaching programmes.
Bedford Borough have been allocated an annual amount of £14000 this year to help support local initiatives. The funding is awarded to projects who meet the Sportivate criteria (click on this link for the Criteria) and all applications (click on this link for the applications) are assessed by a local planning group. Once successful all Sportivate asks for is a copy of your Public Liability Insurance, consent forms and a filled in register and the funding is yours.
The next set of funding is available for September 2013-March 2014. The deadline for applications is Monday 2nd September.
