Riverside Players had some great succes at the Dallington Tennis Club [Northants] Grade 4 Junior Open over half term.
Bilal Malik played well throughout the day to claim the 10+U championship, eventually beating Max Evans 4-2 in the final. Some big forehands and passing shots were too strong for his opponent. Meanwhile, Hamza Malik added to the family trophy cabinet winning the 12+U section without dropping a set
Not to be outdone by the boys, nine year old Olivia Elliott from riverside tennis club , Won the dallington 10 and under tournament last weekend .After beating 3 oppoinents Olivia made it to the semi finals against local player Alex Lewis, to win it 4.2 . Olivia played Imogen in the finals , after superb service games and sticking to her game plan she sailed through 4.0 !
