10&U Girls County Cup (Thame Tennis Club 27-28th May 2017)
It was a pleasure to play for Berkshire in the 10&U County Cup.
We had some very good and difficult matches. We were not used to playing on clay courts.
Lily played as number 1 seed, Sarah played as number 2 seed, Lizzy as number 3 seed and Isabella played as number 4 seed.
We played against Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.
Our coaches were very inspiring; they were called Damian and Heather. They were allowed to come onto court and support us when we were feeling down.
We would like to say thankyou to our coaches and parents.
We enjoyed playing for Berkshire.

The team performed excellently across the whole weekend, beating Bucks (4-0), Oxon (3-1) and Hampshire (3-1) to finish second to Hertfordshire.
The girls attitude and team spirit were second to none, creating a very enjoyable and positive weekend.
Well done girls!!! We hope you all continue to progress and enjoy your tennis.
