Please see below newsletter 4 which contains important information and suggestions for team captains. It has been a busy weekend of fixtures and the weather has been kind so please ensure results are posted as soon as possible. If you have any difficulty please do not hesitate to call Janet or myself and we will do our best to help you. Many of the calls to date have involved a faulty login and they should all be in the format LTABUCXXX where the XXX is your Club number.
We would ask that you ensure that both captains have a score card with their player names, BT number and rating so that the winning captain has all the information to enter the score online. Score cards can be downloaded from the Captain’s Area located at www.LTA.org.uk/Aegon-Team-Tennis.

Unfortunately we have to show further team withdrawals. This is most disappointing as all withdrawals have a major effect on their respective leagues.

Important Message to Club Contacts
It is most important that some of the original correspondence is shared with team captains who have been nominated since original entries were made. We have received many calls from parents who are unaware of their expectations, do not have a captain’s guide, have not been given login and password or even know about how to enter results! They are unaware of how to get a score card, how to get BT numbers and the order of play. Unless this information is shared the season will not run smoothly and extra work will be created.
Match Day
We should not have to repeat this message however please ensure the team captain has a score card with players recorded along with their BT numbers and ratings. This information needs to be shared with the opponents and the winning captain enters the result online. Players must be linked to their Place to Play. Please ensure matches are confirmed.

If you would like to see your team photos or comments on your Aegon Team Tennis matches you can load them yourself onto this Facebook page or if you don’t have a Facebook account just email them to Janice.roach@LTA.org.uk and she will put them on for you.”
8&U Red - additional enquiry.
At the captain’s preseason meeting Janet asked if there were any small clubs who are unable to raise 4 red players but might be interested in a 2-player competition arranged at a central venue. She has offered Wooburn LTC on Saturday 11th May and would like to hear from any interested clubs. We are aiming to attract players with R2, R3 and R4 ratings. There is the possibility that a further venue could be arranged if there was enough interest. We have been given permission by the LTA to see if this could work.
