Congratulations to the Cambridgeshire ladies over-40s County tennis team successfully retained their trophy in the Corby Midlands Winter County League event held at Corby tennis centre.
The Cambs team, who were unbeaten in all 5 of their matches, won the final match 7-1 against Leics, the runners-up.
Caroline Thornton (captain), Rachel Hill, Fleur Clegg, Christine Sprowell, Lesley Birch were the regular players. Trish Esplin and Beth Will also contributed to a key victory against Warks.

Last but certainly not least, Cambs Men's 55s (Capt. Mark Sanders) and ladies 50s (Capt. Sue Mitchell) came a very creditable 2nd in the Corby Winter Midlands County Leagues.
