Caroline Yates, a parent of one of the players Oli coaches commented; "He has a great ability to relate to the kids and get the most out of them in a fun way without them realizing that they are learning. For us, he shone out as an example of how to interact with children and drew comments to this affect from other parents watching from many different clubs."

He is captain for the Cheshire 12 & Under boys and Cheshire 14 & Under boys for the summer County Cup at Bolton and Wrexham respectively and his junior teams have won two AEGON Team Tennis titles in the County Division.
