Hale LTC held a touch tennis tournament on 7th March for juniors at the club. 6 touch tennis courts were set up allowing 18 juniors to compete in the competition.
The tournament ended with the winner Samuel Walsh (Age 13) defeating runner Up Samuel Furness ( Age 15)
Linda Walsh (Junior Secretary) said "What a fantastic and fun junior night, last Friday.... The club house was in full competitive swing for the Winter Touch Tennis Championships!!!"
"There was a great buzz in the air; all played in fantastic spirits and the juniors umpiring each other!"
