The Championships were played on the 9th March, and the weekend of the 15th & 16th March on the indoor courts at David Lloyd, Cheshire Oaks, Ellesmere Port. It was good to have the largest number of entries for many years in some age groups, and over the course of the three days there were many well contested matches, all played in an excellent spirit. Special thanks go to David Lloyd for hosting the Championships, as well as Referee Brian Carr, and members of the Competitions & Tournaments Committee who were responsible for the smooth running of the tournament.
