The Lord Mayor of Chester was welcomed by Alfie, the Mini Tennis Green mascot, when she performed the official opening of Glan Aber Tennis Club’s refurbished all-weather tennis courts at the recent Open Day.
Razia Daniels gamely hit a giant tennis ball over the net before Club President Steve Telford introduced her to the Club Coaches and team players. Later, lots of visitors enjoyed the fun and games and tennis taster sessions organised by the coaches.
