The Great British Tennis weekend took place on Saturday 14th May at Penzance Tennis Club and it was game set and match to the sport with an excellent turnout of children and adults spending hours on court hitting hundreds of tennis balls.
Sunny weather blessed us throughout the day and the coaching team did an amazing job keeping everyone active and having FUN.
We were all very grateful for the wonderful refreshments provided by Mel and his team at the Cafe.
The Club would like to thank everyone who joined in on the day and especially all the helpers that made this such a special event.
Martin Coates Tennis Manager said "This was a great day for the club offering Free Tennis to anyone and everyone and it was a great way to encourage more people down to Penzance to take up this sport and stay in it. In all my time at the club I have never seen so many people on our courts having Fun at one time".
