On a fantastic Spring day, 3 of Cornwall's tennis clubs met at Heron Tennis Centre, to compete in the Aegon Team Tennis 9U event.
With a high standard of play being demonstrated on all courts, Newquay played Truro first and established a solid lead with a 16-4 win. Followed by Penzance against Truro, with Penzance victorious 14-6.
A nailbiting final round between Newquay and Penzance with a 10-10 draw concluding the competi. An excellent days tennis, with some very impressive play from Cornwalls up and coming stars.
Newquay won the event with an overall lead of 2 games.
