Babolat sponsor the first Mini Red Festival in Cornwall.

Menheniot village tennis club recently organised the first of many Babolat Mini Red Festivals to be run in Cornwall. 15 mini red players braved the rain to compete, with one player travelling from Sutton Coldfield.

Menheniots budding tennis stars Samuel Lambert, Ellen Lambert, Addison Mee, Lola Mabbott, Harvey Bevan, William Harland and Matthew Clark all played some great matches, as did all the other competitiors.  The final was a very close run affair with some superb tennis, the standard of tennis throughout the day made it hard to believe that all players were under 8 years of age.

The eventual winner was Harry Melville from Truro and the runner-up was Rudy Squibb from Redruth.  Thank you to Babolat the events sponsor for donating some fantastic prizes.
