Matchplay events, where players of similar levels get the chance to play and enjoy matches against each other under competition conditions have been a popular and regular feature of the junior tennis scene for ages and now adults have their chance to do the same with 2 New Adult Matchplay events at Heron in Newquay.
The matches will count towards your player rating and you will need a British Tennis Membership Number to take part. This is Free to members of Cornwall's tennis clubs and can be obtained by calling 0208 4877000.
The dates are Sunday 13 November 2011 and Sunday 12 February 2012 starting at 11.00am and playing through till approx. 3.00pm and matches may be played indoors and outdoors. The entry fee is £8.00 per event.
