Silloth Rugby Club were hosts to the 10th awards night for Silloth Tennis Club as the club celebrated 2013’s achievements.
Compere for the evening David Wise commented: “It’s hard to believe that it’s ten years since we started holding this event. Time has really flown by and we have seen some great children and great players rise through the club and into adult and county teams and coaching.”
One of those to come through the junior programme was Robert Jefferson who is now a level 2 coach assistant and he was on hand to present the trophies to this years’ winners. The night was rounded off with the usual Stand-up Bingo, Raffle and fiendishly difficult Sports Quiz.
The club would like to thank Louise Stoddart, Julie Fisher, Emma Wise, Shaun Savage for the quiz and all those who supplied food and raffle prizes.
