The Stainburn School leg of the West Cumbria Mini Red Tour produced an amazing set of closely fought battles as Casey Pattinson and Zoe Dalton came through to take the titles.
In a highly competitive event numerous matches went down to the wire with the rule of winning by two clear points being used more than ever. Special mention must go to Jake Foy and Jordi Whitehead as they fought to the very end of each match they played. The finals were in fact a reverse of the Maryport competition with Casey overcoming Ethan Rudd and Zoe getting the better of Lauren Bell and with a turn out of 20 players the excitement is building towards the grand finals in March.
The fourth leg will be held at Lakes College, Lillyhall, Workington on the 19th of January.
