Following the 14&U team winning the county Aegon league in an impressive unbeaten season, The County finals took place in the 8&U & 9&U events at Chatsworth.
The 8&U final was between Chatsworth A and Penrith, with Chatsworth A maintaining a near 3 year unbeaten run in Cumbria running out comprehensive 13-3 winners. The winning team consisted of Cameron Cowan, Sam Hetherington, Noah Williams and Archie Agnew, with Finn Logue absent as he was at Wimbledon finals day!
In the 9&U event a strong team from Jon Griffin's Heversham faced Chatsworth and after some well contested and hard fought matches Chatsworth eased to a 7-3 overall win to clinch the league title. Chatsworth's team was Cameron Cowan, Jonathan Davies, Joseph Grayson and Lucy Dawson with again Finn Logue missing but a key squad player in the progression to the final.
