Derbyshire No 1 seed, Sam Ferguson, celebrated victory after winning the 12&U boys' title at the AEGON Junior National Championships.
Top seed Sam defeated Omari Owens-Maxwell 6-0, 6-1 to win the title at the West Hants Club in Bournemouth. Ferguson produced an impressive display in the final as he raced into a commanding lead, securing the first set to love before closing out the match for the loss of just one game in the second set.
"I'm very pleased", Ferguson said afterwards. "I definitely felt I brought my best tennis to the court and dominated from the start. I didn't give him many chances to get back into the match. It was hard at the start of the week because it was raining but as the week progressed it got better and I definitely played my best tennis towards the end of the week."
